What is the difference between the voyager 3 and 4?

This voyager 4 is the new 2023 technology version. It has 4 handles instead of 3. The handles also have 200,000 shots on the 4-model compared to the 3 which has 100,000.

The Voyager 4 also has two 360 magneto handles; the difference between the 360 opt and the voyager 3 opt heads is the machine’s energy output. The magneto-optical output acts on our skin, making energy at least twice compared to the standard OPT on voyager 3, therefore the magneto-optic hair removal and the skin rejuvenation effect is better.

In addition, when operating the voyager 4s magneto-optical handle, the filters don’t need to be changed. The machine automatically selects the required length of the light wave, which is more convenient for the technician.

The pulse duration of the two machines is different too. Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser has a pulse duration of nanoseconds, while Picosecond Laser has a much shorter pulse duration of picoseconds. This means that Picosecond Lasers can deliver shorter, more powerful bursts of energy, allowing for faster and more precise treatment. Thus, meaning an added benefit to the voyager 4.

What is 7D HIFU?

HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound and this technology has the ability to reach the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS). This is one of the deepest layers of the skin and it was previously only accessible via surgery. This is the main reason why HIFU treatments have become known as ‘non-surgical facelifts in recent years.
